Privacy Policy
This policy describes information processed by Fun’s Gun game and this support website. The game is in development. This policy will be updated when its data practices change.
1. Information processed
- Local preferences and creations: your chosen player name, settings, calibration preferences, saved characters, weapons, ammunition, items, worlds and connection preferences.
- Connection data: IP addresses, server addresses and connection information needed to connect to multiplayer hosts or request a server directory.
- Gameplay and VR poses: player actions, avatar appearance, and headset and controller positions and rotations used to display your body and synchronize multiplayer. These are gameplay tracking poses, rather than camera recordings.
- Shared creations: characters, weapons, worlds and other files you choose to share or that the game transfers as part of a multiplayer session.
- Support and reports: messages, attachments, contact details and other information you choose to provide when asking for help or submitting a report.
- Platform and technical data: Meta’s platform services process information needed to verify your access to the game. Unity engine diagnostics are enabled and may process technical device, application and error information.
2. Why information is used
Information is used to run the game, save your preferences and creations, verify access, connect players, display avatars, synchronize gameplay, exchange shared content, investigate technical problems and respond to support or privacy requests.
3. Sharing and service providers
Multiplayer hosts receive network connection information. Other players can see your display name, avatar, gameplay movements and shared creations. Files you share may be downloaded or retained by recipients.
The developer’s services and independent player-hosted servers may process connection or diagnostic logs. Independent server operators control their own servers and logs; contact the relevant operator about information they retain.
The game uses Meta platform services and the Unity engine. Their services may process information under their own policies: Meta Privacy Policy and Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. Support email is handled through Gmail. This website’s hosting provider may process IP addresses, request details and technical logs to deliver and protect the website.
4. Storage and retention
Settings and creations are stored locally on your device. Session information is generally cleared when a session ends; saved files, downloaded creations and technical logs may remain. Support correspondence and developer-controlled logs are retained as needed to operate and protect services, investigate problems, respond to requests or meet applicable obligations. They may be deleted when no longer needed. Independent hosts and third-party providers manage their own retention.
5. Your choices and deletion requests
You can change your display name and preferences in the game. Use its saved-creation controls to delete supported local creations, or use your device’s application-storage controls to clear local application data. Export anything you want to keep before clearing data.
To request access to, correction of or deletion of information held by the developer, email brdominguez77@gmail.com with the subject Fun’s Gun game — Privacy request. Describe your request and enough context to locate the information. We may ask for information necessary to verify the request. Do not send passwords.
The developer cannot directly delete files already downloaded by other users, information controlled by independent hosts, or information held independently by Meta, Unity or other service providers. Contact the relevant recipient or provider where necessary.
6. Advertising and website analytics
The current game version has no active advertising network or personalized advertising. This website includes no advertising scripts or optional analytics scripts. Hosting providers may still process technical access data as described above.
